My colleagues only having sex for jobs out of necessity to survive – Actress Lydia Forson spills

Popular Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson, has said that a number of her colleagues participate in sexual activities for favors.

The actress said that she doesn’t blame them as those seeking sex often do so from a stronger position of power hence are taking advantage of the men and women.

She said that the phenomenon made it difficult for people in the industry to tow the right path.

She called for a changing of ways and more honesty to enable abusers be caught.

This is coming after OAP Nedu came under fire for claiming BBNaija female housemates were sluts.

She wrote:

So many of you trade sex for survival not because it’s what you want; but the system makes it exceptionally hard for you to tow the righteous path.
I’m not judging you, l’m just saying STOP acting like women & men (yes them too) aren’t sucking d**k under the table for jobs.
If you’re dying of thirst, and I chose ONLY then to make advances at you; I’m guilty of taking advantage of your desperation.
Whiles you can say no and leave dehydrated; I know the scarcity of water may make you give in.
It’s why I waited for you to be thirsty.
I’m never going to sit up here and act like I’m better than others because I chose a different path; truth is, it’s been fucking hard.
On many occasions l’ve felt left behind, sad and frustrated because I’ve had to work 10X to get what others did.
Change starts with honesty!
This country is tough, especially for young men & women; because there’s never any guarantee that your hard work, morals & dedication will pay.
wish we’d stop pretending that we don’t know the system we’re in.
We can’t change it by lying to ourselves.
