A Nigerian lady identified as Joyce Ijeoma, in Lekki, Lagos State, has crossed the 30 hour mark in her journey to achieve a 72-hour massaging marathon to set the Guinness World Record for the longest massage on different individuals.
The masseur who began her journey on July 1, 2023 had been massaging different persons non stop and is still going strong as at the time to filling this report.
Ijeoma is looking to break Alastair Galpin’s record for the longest full-body massage in 25 hours and 4 minutes which was held in South Kalimantan, Indonesia in November 2015.

She had however not disclosed if the Guinness world records was duly informed with a formal application.
Ijeoma had revealed that she has done over 18 hours of massage in preparation for her record-breaking streak.
This is coming on the heels of Hilda Baci’s record of longest cooking marathon by the GWR which lasted about 94 hours.
More Nigerians have since attempted various records including a longest lecture record set to hold later in the year.
