Ondo Government denies forging Gov Akeredolu’s signature to loot state

The Ondo state government has denied claims that the signature of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu was being forged by some persons to steal the state treasury.

The commissioner for information and orientation in Ondo State, Mrs. Bamidele Ademola-Olateju disregarded this claim while briefing newsmen after the five-hour State Executive Council meeting held in Akure earlier today.

Recall the Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, earlier today, headed the Exco meeting in Akure, following the political crisis that erupted in the state three months ago.

The Executive meeting is coming after resolving the political dispute between the deputy governor and Governor Rotimi Akeredolu by President Bola Tinubu.
