Organized Labour shut down Bola Tinubu airport


The Organised Labour led by the Trade Union Congress, TUC, Chairman, Ibrahim Gana in Niger State has shutdown the Bola Tinubu International Airport in Minna, the state capital.

According to AIT, the Labour took this action in compliance with the ongoing nationwide strike by Organised Labour over non-resolution of new National Minimum Wage.

Gana who led the monitoring, compliance and evaluation committee, said they will continue monitoring until the needful is done.

All the offices visited witnessed total compliance level with empty seats and some under lock and key.

The organized labour decided to embark on industrial action after the negotiations between them and the government over the minimum wage of workers came to an impasse.
