Buhari decorates new IGP Muhammad Adamu(photos)

President Muhammadu Buhari has decorated Mr Mohammad Adamu as the acting  Inspector General of Police inside the State House on Tuesday on January 15, 2019

Mr Adamu takes over from Ibrahim Idris who retired today after turning 60 years old, the statutory age for retirement in the force. 

Former IG, Idris, was also present at the decoration where he congratulated the new IGP on his promotion.

The new IGP thanked the President for the opportunity and promised to come up with new strategies to tackle the security issues of the country.
