Residents of Fugar Community in Edo jubilate over return of ‘mother’ as they find giant python [video]

A number of indigenes at the community in Edo state, have been spotted celebrating the return of their “mother”, a giant python.

In the video seen online by Dockaysworld, the residents can be seen expressing excitement as one of them carries the snake around his neck while others chant.

The indigenes who mostly spoke in their language seemed to release the python back into the wild after the excitement.

The giant python did not attack any person in the community. Some ethnic groups in Nigeria are known to have a culture of respecting snakes and seeing them as mystical figures.
