Rihanna salutes Tems for writing “lift me up” song she voiced in honor of Black panther’s Chadwick


American business mogul and singer, Rihanna, has appreciated Nigerian Alte legend, Temilade Openiyi better known as Tems, for writing ‘Lift Me Up’, a song voiced by riri in honor of the late Chadwick Boseman of Black Panther.

Tems had earlier announced to fans that she was excited to have written the song in honor of the late actor.

She wrote;

Blessed to have written this song in honour of Chadwick Boseman and even more blessed to hear the baddest @badgalriri voice it to perfection”

Rihanna and temsShortly after, the billionaire would go on to thank and credit tems for writing the song as the duo expressed great love and admiration for each other.

Rihanna and temsRihanna salutes Tems for writing “lift me up” song she voiced in honor of Black panther’s ChadwickRecall that Rihanna announced the release of a new song, “Lift Me Up”, a song in honor of late American actor, Chadwick Boseman who played the role of T’challa [black panther] in the 2018 marvel blockbuster movie. 

Sadly, the world was shocked after chadwick who fought a long battle with colorectal cancer, died on August 28, 2020 at the age of 43.

The song would feature in marvel’s new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie, which is set to premiere in November 2022.

Marvel directors also decided not to recast Chadwick boseman’s T’challa (black panther) role with a different actor.
