A Nigerian chef identified as Adeyeye Adeola, also known as Chef Deo, has crossed the 15 hour mark in her mission to reach the record of a 150 hours cook-a-thon.

This is in an attempt to break the Guinness world record for the longest cooking marathon by fellow Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, who had a time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.

This is coming after another chef Dammy had attempted similar feat in the Oye Local Government Area of Ekiti State, though she’s unrecognized by the Guinness Book of Records.

Adeola’s cook-a-thon commenced on June 30, 2023, in the Ile-Oluji Local Government Area of Ondo State and is slated to conclude on July 6, 2023.

Over 1000 persons are currently tuned in to Chef Deo’s live on TikTok.
