Counsel to embattled crossdresser Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky identified as Ayo Olumofin has spoken on the possible outcomes after his client pled guilty to naira abuse.
Bobrisky’s lawyer while speaking to journalists after the adjournment said that the Judge had ultimate power in the court and that his words were final.
He however said that he’d spoken on behalf of his client that Bob was a first-time offender, hence should not be given the harshest sentence.
He stated that the options available included a fine or 6-month jail term but that the prosecution had accepted Bob’s plea for a fine.
The lawyer assured the public and Bob’s fans that the likely outcome of the matter could be paying off a fine, after which he would be set free.
