UK-based Nigerian musician Naira Marley, has declared that Internet fraud AKA ‘yahoo’ is not a crime.
The muscian said this in reaction to Simi’s viral video in which she banned ‘yahoo boys’ from buying her music and condemned their way of life.
She had said that their activities were affecting both Nigerians at home and those in diaspora. She urged her fans to speak out against the act and not partake in it.

Naira Marley who was in the news weeks ago after saying Tiwa Savage was not s£xy, stated that Yahoo-Yahoo is not a crime because slave trade justifies it.
He wrote;
If you know about slavery u go know say yahoo no b crime.
Recall, Nigerian music producer Samklef, also called out Simi for taking a stand against yahoo boys, claiming that it was just for attention.
He had written:
‘Am not supporting fraud but is that the only problem we have. Common.’
