Sixteen members of the Rivers State House of Assembly have left the Peoples Democratic Party for the All Progressives Congress.
Dockaysworld reports that the lawmakers made the move on Friday, with Speaker Martin Amaewhule also joining the APC.
They announced their decision during a session at the Assembly complex, marking a new turn in the political situation in the state.
