Reacting to the incident, the President condemned the killings and destruction, describing the attack as an act of terrorism carried out against innocent residents.

He said those behind the violence would be found and made to face justice.

In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga,

Tinubu said the recent peace and improved security recorded in Kaduna State would not be allowed to collapse because of the actions of criminal groups.

The President directed security agencies to increase operations in the affected area, saying every effort must be made to identify and arrest those responsible for the attack.

He also instructed them to restore peace and ensure residents can return to their normal lives without fear.

Tinubu offered condolences to the families who lost loved ones in the attack.

He also expressed sympathy to Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, the state government, and the people of Kaduna over the tragedy.

He assured the state government and the affected communities that the Federal Government would continue to support them as efforts to improve security across the country continue.

The President said his administration remains committed to strengthening the country’s security system, providing the needed support for security personnel, and dismantling criminal groups threatening lives and property.

He also appealed to residents of the affected communities to work closely with security agencies by sharing useful information that could help prevent future attacks and improve response efforts.
