The Association of Resident Doctors under Edo State Government Employment (ARD EDGE) extends its sincere commendation to the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo, for implementing the revised/corrected Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS) in parity with federal hospitals.
We also deeply appreciate His Excellency for ensuring that promotions are processed as and when due. A historic milestone for healthcare workers in Edo State.
Following the completion of the 2026 promotion exercise, beneficiaries eagerly anticipate its implementation in the coming weeks. Furthermore, we acknowledge with gratitude the ongoing construction of the Doctors’ Residence, which is near completion, following assurances that it will be ready within this month of August.
Additionally, we note his continued support for the Medical Residency Training Fund (MRTF) for beneficiaries, strengthening the state’s healthcare sector by expanding specialist training.
ARD EDGE remains fully committed to working collaboratively with the administration to support and complement His Excellency’s SHINE Agenda.
