Following the visa ban by the United Arab Emirates on all Nigerians, 542 citizens have been evacuated by the government after being stranded in the country, Dockaysworld gathers.

Recall that the UAE had placed the ban on visas and deemed all ongoing applications automatically rejected.

This is coming after a viral video  in September, where Nigerians were stranded at the Dubai International Airport and their passports seized.

The Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, had said they were Nigerians trying to circumvent the new visa rules of the United Arab Emirates.
