Tribunal delivers judgement on Binani’s suit seeking to sack Adamawa Governor
The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Yola, Adamawa State, has struck out the suit filed by Aisha Binani Dahiru seeking to nullify the victory of Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
The court while delivering judgment on Saturday, October 28 upheld Fintiri’s re-election.
Binani who polled 398,738 votes had challenged the outcome of the March 18 gubernatorial election and the subsequent declaration of Fintiri who defeated her with 430,861.
