Court adjourns Dele Farotimi’s bail application hearing

A Magistrate Court in Ado-Ekiti has postponed the judgement on Dele Farotimi’s bail application until December 20.

Farotimi was arrested in Lagos following a petition by Babalola and subsequently charged with defamation at an Ekiti State Magistrate Court last Wednesday.

After being arraigned, Farotimi was remanded to a correctional facility by Magistrate Abayomi Adeosun.

The court had earlier set bail at N50 million, with conditions requiring a surety residing in Ekiti State with landed property and the submission of his travel passport.
