The 38 year old however left the custody on Friday 22nd March, when he was taken by guards to a mosque due to ongoing Ramadan.

Despite his British passport being seized, he was able to flee with a Kenyan passport allegedly through a middle eastern airline.

It is believed that the liberty given to the detained executives, including access to phone, led to the escape.

Nigerian authorities are yet to release and official statement as at this time.
