Identities of Nigerian soldiers killed in Abia emerge


The identities of the soldiers who were killed by the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), according to the military, has emerged.

Dockaysworld reported that at least five military personnel were ambushed and killed by the proscribed group in Obikabia Junction, Ogbor Hill area, Aba, Abia State.

About 15 hoodlums were said to have launched the attack on the soldiers while enforcing a sit-at-home order by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) across the South-East.

Reacting to the death of the slain heroes, the Nigerian Army on Friday vowed to retaliate.

They said the military would be fierce in its response to the dastard act and would bring overwhelming military pressure on the group to ensure their total defeat.
