The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the arrest of Senator Elisha Abbo and his orderly over the assault of a nursing mother in a sex shop in Abuja.
The senator was caught on camera assaulting a lady inside a sex shop in Abuja sometime in May with his orderly watching without protecting the lady.
The orderly had gone ahead to remove the victim from the shop under the orders of the Senator after he had just beaten her.
The police boss gave the order following the public outcry after the assault video surfaced online.

The House of senate has also set up a committee to probe Abbo over the assault.
Senator Abbo who has since reacted to the viral video claimed that he was only defending his sister who had been brutalized in the shop.
Meanwhile, celebrities like MI Abaga, Banky W, Don Jazzy and many more have called for his prosecution and removal from office.
