Nigerian-British content creator Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo had undergone five penis enlargement injections at a Bangkok clinic before his final procedure, investigators have been told.
Ubiribo died on March 6, less than a day after receiving hyaluronic acid penile filler injections at the clinic in Thailand. An inquest in the UK previously linked his death to the injection and a pulmonary embolism.
According to Vanguard newspapers, the clinic’s management said Ubiribo had been a patient there since 2024 and had not reported complications from his previous treatments.
The clinic also told investigators that a doctor advised him to split his latest procedure into two sessions. However, Ubiribo reportedly requested that the treatment be completed in a single session.
Inquest records said he developed chest pains and collapsed several hours after the March 5 procedure. He was taken to a hospital, where he reportedly received CPR for 101 minutes before he was pronounced dead at 1:05 a.m. the following day.
Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health has now launched an investigation into the clinic to determine whether it complied with medical and professional standards. Authorities said evidence would be gathered before the case is referred to the Medical Council for consideration.
