Just In: Appeal Court dismiss Nasarawa speaker

The Court of Appeal has dismissed the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, who is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

The Speaker was dismissed in a judgement delivered earlier today by a Court of Appeal in Abuja.

The Court, however, declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Sa’ad Abdullahi Ibrahim as the rightful winner of the March 18, 2023 election for the Umaisha/Ugya State Constituency.
