A Nigerian socialite, Baddie Kimmy K has just disclosed some reasons why Nigerian artists refused to attend the Headies Awards.
From a live interview with Pulse’s Hot Takes, Baddie stated that the Headies has the potential to become the greatest awards ceremony in Africa, but because of its repeated failures, Nigerian musicians are now embarrassed to attend.
She suggested that in order to shake things up and create anticipation for the awards, the show’s organizers need to rebrand and engage some youthful talent.
It is worth noting that the Headies is a music awards show organized to honor notable accomplishments in the Nigerian music business.
