The Nigerian Senate has postponed its resumption date from April 29 to May 6, 2025.
The change was announced through an internal memo dated April 20, 2025, signed by Senate Clerk Andrew Ogbonna Nwoba.
According to the memo, the postponement is to allow lawmakers time to participate in activities related to International Workers’ Day on May 1, and to enable them to better engage with their constituents during the break.
