There have been growing calls from various groups for Akeredolu to step down from his position if he doesn’t resume his duties at the Ondo State Government House.
Concerns have arisen over his prolonged absence since his return from medical treatment in Germany, with some suggesting that he might still be unwell.
The governors arrived separately at the Oyo State government Secretariat in Agodi, Ibadan, and were warmly received by Governor Makinde in his private office.
Notably, Governor Sanwo-Olu made a grand entrance, arriving via a chartered helicopter before joining his fellow governors for the meeting.
Following their arrival, the four governors engaged in a brief private meeting at the Oyo State governor’s office before departing.
At this time, the specific purpose of the meeting remains undisclosed.
