A couple of “Big Boys” have become the topic of discussion after they were seen in a video engaging in a car race challenge at the University of Benin Maingate road.
In a video obtained by Dockaysworld, the yet to be identified individuals, where seen driving a white Mercedes Benz GLK and a red Mercedes Benz C350 as they both cruised at maximum speed, ignoring other motorists or possible pedestrians plying the road.
A similar event occurred on the 3rd of October 2022 in Benin City, when a young man driving at full speed in his white Mercedes Benz C-300, knocked down a pregnant mother of 3 at the Lagos-Uselu road, killing her instantly.
The suspect was however apprehended by the Nigerian police, with an angry mob setting his car ablaze.
With the cases of hit and run driving in the country steadily rising up, one can but wonder the motive behind excessive speeding amongst Nigerian drivers, especially the youth.
