The government explained that the changes are aimed at opening space for more party members to participate in governance and to bring new energy into the administration.

It also stated that the Governor appreciated all the affected officials for their service to the state while wishing them well in their future work.

The statement further directed all those affected by the decision to properly hand over government property and documents in their possession to the office of the Secretary to the State Government.
