You castrated man – Singers Ruger and Bnxn blast each other again as they measure musical success

Nigerian singers and rivals Ruger and Bnxn fka Buju, have come for each other once again as they compared musical successes in their budding careers so far.

Trouble had started when Ruger dropped a sub for a singer who allegedly gets musical success by ads and influencers playing their unlikeable songs.

Bnxn seemed to have taken his tweet personally and proceeded to drop subs of his own, accusing an artiste of getting plays through ‘streaming farms’ which exaggerate the numbers.

He said that the numbers were often false as the artiste or artistes in question often did not headline any shows or appear on features with established acts. The subs seemed to be for Ruger who happily claimed it.

Bnxn also called out Rema in a deleted tweeted, implying that the singer was also complicit in having fake numbers.

Ruger who hit back in a series of tweets said that Bnxn had no solo hits of his own and depended on others to pop.

Ruger wrote:

I am something. For years now, I have forced my songs down people’s throat whether e sweet abi e no sweet either by too much ads or by paying every influencer to make noise about a song they don’t even like. Or by speeding my song on TIKTOK. WHAT AM I?
Buju baby so all I need from you now is simple. I need you to list just five songs of yours that’ll make your crowd go crazy at your shows and l’ll list mine. No features, just your songs buju baby l’m waiting

Recall Bnxn and Ruger also had a similar exchange months ago with the duo attacking one another. Fans have suggested that both artistes are engaged in a publicity stunt with Bubu’s new song set to drop soon.
