IPOB kicks against Mbah’s plans to establish cattle ranch in Enugu

The Indigenous People of Biafra has rejected alleged plans by the Enugu Government to establish cattle ranch in the state.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has called on Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State to abandon his plans for establishing a cattle ranch in Nimbo, Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area.

This plea is coming on the heels of a protest by Nimbo residents against the governor’s initiative.

Widows of 2016 herdsmen attack victims took to the streets on Friday to express their dissatisfaction against the governor’s proposed plan.

IPOB on Monday in a statement warned against allowing jihadist Fulanis to establish murderous camps, insisting that any cattle ranch in Enugu State should be privately managed by an Igbo businessman.
