The Oba of Benin, Omo’Noba N’Edo, Oba Ewuare II, has attested to the popularity of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.
Peter Obi who stormed Edo state with his campaign team had paid a visit to the Oba of Benin and lesser traditional rulers in the state.
While at the Palace located at the city center, the Oba of Benin extolled the Obi’s virtues and spoke of a little poll he’d carried out.

According to him, he’d asked children and old persons about Obi and often found that they all know him.
He pondered why anybody would say that the Labour Party candidate was only active online.

Recall, Peter Obi paid a visit to clergyman Apostle Johnson Suleman during his time in Edo state. The pastor had offered him thanks and prayers.
