The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed that one suspect is currently in custody in connection with the death of Adesina Afeez, a 22-year-old singer popularly known as Destiny Boy.
The command said investigations have commenced into the incident, adding that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Homicide Section, for a detailed probe.
Police authorities noted that investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the singer’s death.

The late singer, who welcomed a child with his partner Iremide in 2024, was widely mourned by fans and colleagues following the announcement.
