Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable, has been released after he was rearrested by the Lagos State Police Command just a few days after his initial release.
Portable could be seen in a video in good spirits as he danced and sang following him regaining freedom again after he reportedly assaulted a police officer.
The initial arrest occurred on Tuesday following a petition from a car dealer. Portable, who is often involved in controversies, allegedly purchased a G-Wagon worth N27 million from the dealer. He made a down payment and took the vehicle, promising to pay the remaining balance.
However, when the dealer requested the balance or the return of the car, Portable allegedly refused, claiming the vehicle was faulty.
After repeated unsuccessful attempts to recover the balance, the dealer reported the 30-year-old singer to the police, leading to his arrest.
Fans and followers await the culmination of the entire saga including a possible payment of his debt or being let of the hook by car dealer.
