The Labour Party Presidential candidate Peter Obi, has finally broken his silence following the announcement and collation of election results.

The former Anambra state governor said that he was fighting a system that has existed for decades and as such called for persistence.

Obi who was spotted by a follower at the airport called on all his supporters to remain calm and continue to ask INEC and others to do the right thing.

Meanwhile Obi has just been announced as the winner of the FCT election causing a debate about a possible rerun election as the constitution says the winner of the presidential election must obtain 25% votes in 2/3rds of the states and the FCT.
